both of the boys had a great football season. tegan's team got better as the season went on, thankfully. he even was able to catch a few touchdowns.
burke's team had a great season and even made it to the championship game which was amazing and so exciting to be apart of, even if it did cut our oregon coast trip super short.
mya had a great volleyball season, she was such a good little volleyball player.
ayla loves to go to gymnastics every single week. she recently was able to move up to the intermediate class and feels pretty excited about it.
before football even ended burke came home from school and said he wanted to go and try wrestling for the school and that practice started tomorrow. i said okay, sure, why not and away he went. he even talked tegan into going and trying it out with him. after the first day burke was hooked and tegan was done. tegan did not enjoy it one little bit and decided he was already retired from the sport but burke was all in and he did great! he even made the varsity team as a 6th grader and one who had never ever even wrestled a single day of his life before. he was able to compete in districts at the end of the season and did pretty darn good there too. not as well as he hoped, (he got a little hosed in his final match) but he competed his little heart out! the boys also joined a quick indoor lacrosse league with some of their buddies for fun. it was the first time doing indoor lacrosse and it sure was interesting. it was like watching kids with sticks chase around a bouncy ball, it was pretty comical but they had a blast and absolutely loved it.
