the boys started tackle football the monday after we got home from bear lake and that was it for the summer. practice began every evening m-f for 2 hours for both of them, burke is doing optimist again this year and tegan decided that he wanted to go out and try football for the middle school. having to be home the last 2 week of summer did allow us to spend lots of time at the waterpark. then school began and mya started volleyball and a few weeks later ayla began gymnastics. the dreaded schedules of waking up and going to bed at a somewhat responsible hour, being here and being there has begun and as much as i have a love hate relationship with it all, school and them being gone all day, running around all evening long and never really relaxing once 4pm hits, it has been really fun watching the kiddos start back up with sports, seeing them get better and watching their games and having them come home to tell me all about their days or how practice went today. they have all loved school so far this year. both boys are in middle school and have enjoyed riding scooters there together in the mornings, then the girls have loved having me as their bus driver this year. its been good so far and everyone is happy about that!
