i got back from my girls trip and we left for the oregon coast tuesday evening. burke's football team won their game the Saturday afternooon that i was gone to park city so we knew we were going to have to be back the next saturday for his championship game so we decided to leave a day earlier to make the trip a little longer than 48 hours. we decided to leave Tuesday evening and try to get half way to break up the drive a little bit. still not sure it was worth it but it made the drive a little easier thats for sure. we left tuesday at 7:00pm after burkes practice and made it to Hood River about midnight. then woke up and went to the nike employee store then headed to the coast. we had so much fun at lincoln city with chase's family. we were there wednesday afternoon until friday afternoon then drove home and got home around 2:30am so we could be at burkes championship game saturday morning at 11:00. we crammed in as much as we could into those 48 hours. we played at the beach, went crabbing, shopping, looked at the boardwalks, made ghost houses, went on a hike, got covered in sand, were soaking wet, the boys swam in the ocean we found seashells at low tide and had a bonfire on the beach.
