november...
mya got her braces off. she is so darling!
the boys got to play a box indoor lacrosse league with so many of their buddies and they did so well. things got a little heated at a lot of the games and we will probably never do that league again, we might of been the most hated team in the league as well but it was a season we will never forget.
we took the kiddos up to the property over thanksgiving break to get their opinion and stay at a hotel in the near by town. we spent the day sledding around and hiking up and down the mountains. i was just hoping to not be mountain lion and bear food at the point. so many animal tracks everywhere. we hiked into a hot springs on the mountain side, we about near died trying to get down the pure ice rink on our way but we survived and had the best time sitting under the stars in the middle of no where. we stayed until well after midnight then had to hike back up and out and drive back to the hotel. by the time we got back to the car the temperatures were in the negatives and ayla's hair was completely frozen icicles.
on our way home we stopped and snagged us a christmas tree or two. i needed an extra it was very important, minus i didnt really think it through the lack of truck bed and the top of my car not being huge, we only had to stop and retie it a handful of time on the way home. it's always an adventure!
after thanksgiving we headed to rupert for the santa coming to town parade and that santa breakfast. where mya decided that she needed to ask santa for a mattress. i knew she wanted a mattress for christmas i just didnt know that when she would ask santa for a mattress that it would come out quite the way it did. it was sooooo funny and i just started at chase then felt like i needed to correct her and clarify that she already has a mattress i promise!! but i didnt, i just let her walk away and come to me and get all the pity stares. it was too good. everyone else after for their items was well and even still sat on his lap. tegan wanted new cleats, burke wanted new lacross gloves and ayla wanted a nintendo switch.
