january...

 january was busy, like every other month of our lives it seems. nothing has changed this year so far. the boys have started the year off with an itch for hunting birds. they kept going out to westerns gravel pit looking for some birds to hunt. apparently they made tegan crawl on the frozen pond after one that they got and he broke through the ice and fell in and got soaked. hence the no pants picture. 

we got ourselves a hot tub that has been a hit! its been so nice to have one, everyone is loving it but getting the area prepped for it was a lot of work and it was cold. good thing the boys are big and strong now and a lot of good help. 

at some point one night mya and holding a work out band and some how came back and hit herself in the eye with it and scratched her own eyeball. still not quite sure how she did that but we ended up at the doctor and sure enough she did indeed put a scratch across her eyeball and we had to do eyedrops for a few weeks. and lets just say she isnt a great eyedrop person. it was a treat. 

mya also got to go to the temple for the first time in january. it was wonderful. we invited some of her friends to go as well and my parents were also able to be there with us as they were working the baptismal font that morning.

ayla has been a rockstar at school this year, going to a new school and she got an award this month. she was thrilled and so were we to come watch her school assembly. she is just so stinking cute.
