may...

rugby and lacrosse were in full swing all spring. tegan played varsity and jv this year for meridian. sometimes it was a little stressful having my little 8th grader going up against those big senior boys but he loved it and was thrilled about it. burke still played on the middle school team despite how awful they were. he can't wait for next year when he is high school eligible. mya did fantastic in rugby. she won player of the match mutiple times. we did have her first rugby injury though but it didn't keep her down for too long.

ayla had a jog-a-thon at school. he busted out 33 laps. almost 5 miles. she was crusing.

the boy's both got their braces off. aren't they just so handsome.

ayla got the mvp at school from her teacher. she the pumped. we got to go to the school and eat with her and the principal for lunch. oh what fun it was.

the boy's decided that even with lacrosse they needed to run track this spring too. they both did the sprints and the medley's. they would stay after school for track practice then come home for 20 minutes and head off to lacrosse. they absolutely loved it and it was fun they got to do it together. their medley took first place at districts too.

for memorial weekend we went up to the property and camped with the eggintons. we needed to get some work done up there and they were happy to help! we cleared so many trees attempting to make a flat area down in the trees for some future plans. then the boys decided they need to have a bon fire and burn all the downed trees. it was huge, i kept waiting for the fire trucks to show up.
