march...

 sports sports and more sports... and we wouldn't have it any other way. tegan and burke were in lacrosse in the evenings. ayla just finished basketball. mya is in basketball and rugby. burke has also decided that he is playing basketball and they practice at 5:30-7:30am with games right after school then to lacrosse he goes. he is a busy fella yet again. 

 

spring break 2023 we drove back to california for another cruise. this time we did a big 6 night cruise all of mexico. i have officially decided i am not a cruise fan and i am good to remain on land for the remainder of my life. (until the kids or friends talk me into another one)

our first stop was cabo. super fun. i actually really enjoy cabo. we walked around a little bit, mya got her hair braided. absolutely amazing to watch how fast that lady was able to braid all her hair. then went out to get dropped off at a beach to snorkel and lay around. then back on the ship and get down to puerto vallarta the next day.

in puerto vallarta we went into town to the beach where the kiddos went parasailing. they loved it! it was pretty fun watch them do it too. little did we know we somehow had found a gay beach, so that was entertaining. im sure everyone else was wondering why 3 families full of children had just strolled onto their beach buuttttt oh well. it took us at least a solid hour before we caught on and once we did we didnt really know what to do but laugh. whoops. 

 

the next day we were at mazatlan, our favorite day, and we did a 4wheeling excursion through the jungle aka sagebrush with a little greenery, and along the beach, we stopped to let the kids swim in the ocean, then we went back for lunch where they cooked us an authentic mexican meal back at the four wheeling place. it was sooo good. so much fun too. 

then back at sea for a day with a stop at ensenada where we talked around town, shopped all the shops. got totally ripped off at a place for lunch. worst meal EVER. and hopped back on the ship for the swayist.. i know that isnt a word... way back home. such rough waters on the way back. it was wild. 

we got off the ship at 7 am we made it home all in one day and then they started back to school the next day! it was a whirlwind but it was a blast! i got wildly sick after we got off the ship. apparently thats a thing. motion sick once you get off for a few weeks. super not fun but after 2 weeks it just went away one day. minus that, it was a good time.
