easter and ayla's birthday landed on the same day this year. she was concerned about it, very concerned. she just didn't know how everything would be able to happen on the same day at the same time but we did it. we were able to do both her birthday and easter on the same day! and i would even say that she absolutely loved it. we celebrated a little before with cousins and friends, spent saturday doing some things that she loves then had fun on sunday too opening presents, finding easter baskets and eggs and going to the grandparents for easter dinners.
this girl is still one of my absolute favorite humans. she is kind and hilarious. she loves humans and will talk to anyone. her favorite color is blue. she loves all animals big and small. she needs to live on a farm. she still begs for a dog everyday. (never happening) she loves to be with her friends. she is a best friend to everyone around her. she has the sweetest giggle. she is going to have the best year of being 8 ever! here's to the year of being 8 ayla dear. may it be your best year yet.
