odds and ends of spring...

 the boys played middle school lacrosse in the spring. their team got crushed every single game but one. it was a learning season as it was the first time that meridian high put together a middle school team. they had great attitudes about it though and still had fun despite the killer beat downs. mya also played rugby and holy smokes. she loooooved it and was phenomenal at it. she did so darn good. she was a quick learner. she played against 6th grade boys and girls and never backed down. it was so much fun to watch. she went the first day not knowing a single thing about rugby to becoming one of their top players as a fifth grader. tegan also woke up everyday at 5:30 am to play school basketball. he would do practice 5:45- 7:45am, get ready at school, go to school, come home, grab a snack and go to lacrosse practice right away for 2 hours, then come home and do homework or head to mutual or attend a school function. he was a busy boy for a few months! it was fun to watch him play basketball again. it had been a while! 

burke also joined the braces gang. we now have 3 little midgets getting them pearly whites all straightened up. we also got to attend addilyn's baptism in april. she looked so pretty in her dress and it got ayla so excited for her upcoming baptism. tegan was kodiak of the month at school in april. mya got to be walt disney at her wax museum project. she did such a good job with her presentation it was the first one that we could actually go and watch due to all the covid stuff we werent able to watch the boys. she did great!

 

we ended may with our memorial day camping trip, it rained and rained and then probably even rained some more if it could. it was wet and muddy and freezing cold but we still had the best time up in the mountains. nothing i love more than being up there. luckily, the fullers brought an entire circus tent that we could hide under with the propane fire pit to stay warm and dry.
