all the little tid bits of june.
june was a busy month. school ended which means that mya officially graduated elementary school and is moving on to middle school in august. she got to have a graduation ceremony that we got to attend. and her brothers got to attend as well and they made their presence known. mrs murdoch even mentioned them. it was a treat. welcome to middle school miss mya!
dad and i had a birthday once again. another trip around the sun was had. our birthday weekend fell on the same weekend of aylas baptism so it was a weekend full of family celebrations and parties all days and nights long!
burke was invited to join in an idaho all state all star camp and game in june. he was recruited and had been looking forward to that week for months. they stayed at CSI in twin falls for the week doing a football camp and then got to play in an all-star game (treasure valley vs the rest of the state of idaho) on saturday morning. chase and tegan took burke down to twin falls and got him all settled into his dorm room on tuesday then came back home and we all headed down to his game early saturday morning, grandparents came and supported him too. he played phenomenal in the game, his team won and he was named defensive MVP for the treasure valley all star team. it was awesome. proud of you burkey boy! he already got recruited back next year and he can't wait.
we got to celebrate our favorite BIG D. he is everyones favorite around here. he's the fun one, the one who makes everyone laugh and cry all at the same time. ayla made him a cute little hand made bow tie to wear to church that sunday.
we also got to squeeze in a cabin trip in june. we headed up there for a few days and the eggintons were able to come up and join us for a little bit too! we spent lots of time in the and playing on the new lily pad was a hit. the boys fished and had some luck and the girls freaked out when they would throw the fish at them. all in all it was a great way to start the summer.
after getting back from the cabin we packed up and headed to rupert to start the fourth of july festitivies early this year. we planned to be there for a week this time.
