lisa and i decided to take the kiddos on a spur of the moment trip to Seattle. we were at dinner one tuesday night saying we should go on a trip and next thing we know we were calling her parents telling them we were heading there way on thursday! So Thursday morning bright and early off we went! it was so much fun. we did all the touristy things. downtown. pikes market. mariners game. space needle. the troll under the bridge. we got to see and hang with mckenzie. eat at dicks. almost got stuck in a parking garage. hikes. played in the ocean. explored everywhere. the kids were troopers and her parents are rock stars for letting us crash there for an entire week.
we came home from seattle and went straight to sun valley with rustin and lisa for chase's conference. we survived another round of mountain biking down bald mountain. this time ty and ash join us as well. we stayed up late playing games. at way too much food. shopped all the thrift stores and had a nice trip away from the kids. we also planned some sacrament talks in there as well. came home long enough to give our talks in sacrament on Sunday then left to go the cabin for the week.
