this girl is growing up right before our eyes. it has been so rewarding and bitter sweet to see her change from a toddler into a kid and now as she is starting to get ready to become a young women. she is kind and sweet, compassionate to everyone around her. she still knows EXACTLY what she wants when she wants it. she has a stubborn side that is hard to sway but she has come so far in knowing and being able to control her emotions and talk through her feelings.
some of her favorite things right now... she loves to have her hair in a side ponytail. she only will wear it that way, every once in a while i can squeeze in pigtails. she is loving school this year, it has been so nice that she enjoys it again. she is crushing it in math and reading this year as well. she loves to play basketball and rollerblade. her favorite color is blue. she still loves all food, especially if it is on my plate. and she is the best sister to ayla. constantly playing house and teacher with her.
for the past year or two we have been trying to figure out why her belly hurts all the time. we have gone gluten free. dairy free. tried lactose pills. and yet we still can't figure it out. she has been a trooper through it all. hopefully someday soon we find relief for her. starting to think they are due to migraines that manifest in the stomach or a form on anxiety.
we had a great few days celebrating her a few weeks ago, breakfast in bed. dutch bros. lunch to costa vida. rollerblading at the rollerdrome. and cake and ice cream with her birthday partner, lisa. we just love her and her spunky, take no crap spirit.
