waaaahhoooooo! school is out for the summer. i cant wait to have no schedule, nothing to do, trips to go on and lots of laying by the pool.
to end the school year we rode our bikes to the snow cone shack then watched an outdoor movie with the fuller fam.
before school ended the boys were in an award assembly for running this year. tegan ran 256 miles this school year and burke ran 177. tegan almost finished 9 full marathons! he was so excited. both him and burke were the top runners in their grade and tegan was third in the entire school. this year nike sponsored their school. the goal was for the kids to reach the 100 mile club, the boys made it an then some, so at the school assembly they all got t-shirts for their first marathon, blue nike shoe laces for their second marathon, these silver tags for their shoe laces with nike on one and 78.6 on the other and a super cool blue nike bracelet that says 104.8. they were THRILLED! thank you nike and great job boys! mya got her first marathon then decided she was done running, the school didnt have such great rewards last year, it was just a pizza party for the 100 milers and she was a little (ALOT) sad when she came home from school that day. poor girl, she is determined to make it next year now!
