summer is in full swing...

i am now 32.

my birthday was wonderful, i went to a movie with the kiddos in the morning then ditched them for a date night with dinner and golfing.

i got a paddleboard this year which we were all pretty excited for.

this is going to be the best year yet... i can feel it.

 the day after my birthday, we left for the cabin and were there for 12 days! i cant lie. that was a looooong time to be up there. usually when we leave its a bummer but this time i was chompin' at the bit to get outta there and get home, it didnt help that i came down with the worst head cold of my entire life (no, im not exaggerating) the last night we were there. i was soooo ready to come home and sleep that off and have the help of my wonderful hubby. the first part of our trip it was just whit, brit and I so we decided to each take up a friend. we had a blast! the kiddos didnt sleep a wink and were exhausted by the time they headed home. when they left, chase and cameron came up for the weekend, then my parents came up for the week once the boys headed home.. it was a lot of in and outs but the constant rotation of people helped keep the kiddos entertained!

 father's day has come and gone. we sure looooove chase and think he is the bestest daddy ever. i sure got lucky in that department. he is everyone's favorite, no question. he acts more like a kid more than the kids act like kids so what kid wouldn't want that, built in best buddy! lucky ducks.
