with lacrosse and school going well into june this year we weren't able to get out and camp as much as we would of wanted to. we finally got to head up to idaho city over memorial weekend with a bunch of friends. we had a great time. lots of games were played. lots of hiked were hiked. the kids were always on the go and they even managed to almost step on a rattlesnake early one morning on a hike across the river. since it was so cold in the mornings it wasn't moving much, thankfully. chase pulled out the machete and took his head off, he said he couldn't throw that thing in the river fast enough. the kiddos did cut off the rattle and kept it. they were so excited.
