christmas this year was super fun. we didn't have our normal christmas parties so it felt like it snuck up on us super quick. we did manage to go see santa, where he sat behind plexiglass and could barely hear or understand the kids, it was comical for sure. tegan, burke and mya asked for a PS5 and ayla wanted a balance beam. we also ran out to the lights in caldwell one evening, took a quick stroll out there with the fullers then headed home to watch a christmas movie. christmas eve was calm this year, chases parents were down in Utah so we didn't have a christmas eve party with them. we went to my parents that morning to open our matching outfits then came home to have our own fun and quiet evening. we watched a movie, did the nativity, opened our pajamas, got the stockings and treats ready for santa then headed to sleep. it was nice to not be overly busy and trying to hustle home and sprint around the house getting everyone to sleep before midnight.
christmas morning gets more and more exciting every year. this year the kids turned on lil' jon and koolaid man singing all i want for Christmas full blast through every alexa speaker in the house at 6:59am. it was cute and funny. then they came sprinting in begging us to get out of bed so we could head downstairs.
the kids were thrilled with their gifts and we all loved see what everyone got. this year for our family gift we got a soft serve ice cream maker which everyone has been really excited about. tegan burke and mya ended up getting the PS5 from santa and ayla has been doing tons of tricks on her balance beam. tegans favorite gift was his go pro, burke loved his private lacrosse lessons, mya is most excited about her rainbow vans and bigger weighted blanket and ayla's favorite was her drum set. she is quite the drummer.
