the last few weeks...

the last few weeks have been busy! we have been doing a few home projects. and spending time outside, now that it is finally warm, getting the final touches of the yard done. our front yard was done by our builder and it is UGLY, so i am trying to improve it slowly. last week chases work helped sponsor a free zoo night so we invited a couple friends and away we went. we were there when it opened and they were closing the gates when we finally left. i actually enjoyed going to the zoo this time. every single animal was out and moving, that never happens, so we got to see all of them and it was pretty cool. it also helped that we basically had the zoo to ourselves, funny how things change when you aren't worried about losing your kiddos!. we weren't trying to walk around crowds or wait to get up to the glass.

 mya lost both of her two front teeth a couple nights ago. she is so excited to have both of them missing at the same time. neither of the boys were completely tooth less, so she feels pretty special.

we had a camberlango bowling night a couple of weekends ago. to celebrate mckenzie, ayla and sawyers birthdays. tegan is a dang good bowler! who knew. he never used the bumpers and he almost broke 100. 

  

we took the kids to big juds for dinner the other night. they all were determined to eat the big jud challenge by themselves, a one pound hamburger with a basket of fries and a large soda. it didnt happen... one because they would end up being so sick because i know they would try so hard to do it, and two, i wasn't about to pay for them all to try it. i am such a party pooper, i know. after talking them down they decided to try one together, the three of them did eat the entire hamburger though, so we called it a victory and took their picture under the sign on the way out.

we have been going riding a lot lately. its so fun to get out and dirtbike again. i love it. there is an awesome place to go riding about 20 minutes from our house. the kids are getting really good at it! it isn't as stressful as it use to be, now we can sit and watch as they ride around or go out for longer rides. chase bought himself a dirt bike a couple weeks ago. although i have no idea how we are ever going to get everything anywhere all together at the same time its fun to have for when we go out on a saturday, around here. someday we will add a hitch to the trailer and be able to pull all the bikes behind it. we are going to be the truck with two massive trailers behind it. ridiculous. but three little dirt bikes, a big dirt bike and a four wheeler wont all fit in the truck bed anymore.
