we flew into oakland for the boys tournament down in san jose so we could do san francisco for the day. we did all the sites, fullhouse, golden gate bridge, lombard street, chocolate factory, the pier, walked all the streets and even went out to alcatraz. it was pretty cool! the boat ride out there didn't suit be super well. i got quite sick on the way back and the trash can was my bff for a bit. after getting back from our tour we walked back to our car thinking we would be able to leave downtown easily, we were wrong it took almost 3 hours to get down to san jose on a friday night. it was a long day, especially when you woke up at 4:30 am.
saturday games began early and the boys both played well, the teams were hard and wins weren't easy to get but we had fun and enjoyed being in california. we stayed a few days after the tournament was over, we went down to santa cruz on monday to play in the ocean and on the beach, we rented wet suits and boogie boards. looooove the ocean, santa cruz was fuuuunnnnn. we checked out oakland on our way back out of town on tuesday, found some redwoods, we stopped at the temple, gorgeous!! but other than that oakland is gross and ghetto then home we came!
