tegan headed up to bogus a few times this winter with his buddies. its weird he is at an age where he can just take off and go!

mya and ayla played a little basketball league at the last minute, they did great and had fun doing it. it was fun watching them.

burke found a mass on himself a few months ago, after chase and i confirming it was actually not normal we took him to the pediatrician who immediately sent us down to the children's hospital to get an ultrasound that afternoon, that's not a way to not panic me. after the ultrasound they said they would call us in the new few days with the results but then ended up calling that night saying we needed to get into seeing a urologist within the next few weeks. the next morning the urologist called and said they wanted to see him immediately so back out of school he went and back downtown we went. another long day of testing and scans and they ruled out all cancers which was fantastic and for now they will just continue to monitor the mass. since where it is at it can herniate and if it does that his intestine will start falling down and out of place. not a good situation. so for now, we wait and test every 6 months or if he comes into pain then we will have to remove it as well. he was less than thrilled for another day of testing. 

valentine's day came. its one of my favorite holidays. i love celebrating my people! it makes me happy. ill take excuse to show a little extra love to them.
