easter came and went this year quicker than quick, i wasn't even able to put up a single decoration. the week leading up to Easter whitney had her baby. we have a cute new nephew to snuggle up on. he came rather early and so everyone scrambled around to try to get help her things all prepared and situated. we took the kiddos to one egg hunt this year, the one at Albertsons of course! its sad to see the older kids starting to come to an end of their participation days. we all had fun doing one last egg hunt before tegan is too old next year. the kiddos scored big, i have to admit taking 27 prize tickets up to the desk was a little embarrassing but they were thrilled! and didn't seem to think there was a problem with it. we dyed some eggs saturday night then headed to whit and cams to be little bunny bandits for addilyn and evelyn. since they were in the hospital the girls weren't able to go to any egg hunts so the kids had a great idea of making an egg hunt for them.... i love seeing my kiddos being compassionate towards others, sure makes a mommas heart happy! they filled eggs with the candy they got early from their hunt then we headed over to set up a hunt for them. they rang the doorbell and ran, leaving a note calling themselves the bunny bandits. too cute! a tradition for the rest of our lives, for sure.
