phewwww... we made it through last week. it was crazy, busy, horrible, awful, fun, exhausting and lots more...
the week started on monday with ayla going to preschool then coming home in an insane amount of pain and not able to move her arm. while she was at preschool she was laying on the floor playing with some of her friends and a little guy wanted her to move so he grabbed and pulled on her arm to move her. he must of pulled reeeallllyyyy hard because he dislocated her elbow. when she got home i took one look at her barely being able to get out of my friends car so into our car we went to go to DOC. the poor girl couldn't move her arm at all. she just cried and cried every time she had to move. we had to do some xrays incase it was fractured or broken, luckily it wasn't and they could set her elbow back and she said she would have immediate relief. setting it was awful, she cried a pain cry i haven't ever heard before, but the second they were done she was all better! woo hoo! no cast, splint, sling.. nothing. best outcome. well minus the fact that it shouldn't of happened to begin with. they gave her a stuff bear and sent us on our way and she hasn't said a word about it since, except to tell everyone she meets that she got to see her bones.
tuesday after school we took off to twin falls with the fullers for a little hotel sleepover fun. we ate dinner, swam, played games and chatted the night away. we got zero sleep, turns out sleeping in the same room as 8 kids all 10 and younger makes you a little sleepy the next day. mya even escaped the hotel room at 2am trying to find the bathroom... freaky.
wednesday we swam all morning, went and saw shoshone falls, went exploring for lizards, got some lunch and headed to rupert to hang with my parents.
thursday we hung in rupert. it poured rain all day. chase fixed steve and bavia's driveway. we played more games of chess and checkers then ill ever care to do again. we shopped our favorite rupert stores. we picked some pumpkins at our favorite pumpkin patch, then we went to dinner at taco banditos. right after we ordered and paid the power went out. they still got us our food but we had to eat by cell phone flashlights in the pitch black.
friday we woke up and made the trek home, we unload our stuff, started a few loads of laundry, then loaded up the dirt bikes and four wheeler and headed out dirt bike riding for the evening.
saturday we had tegan's football game in the rain, mya's last soccer game in the wind and cold, no more rain, chase went to the bsu football game in the rain and freezing cold while i stayed home with the kiddos in my warm house and watched it on tv. then that night we had people over for the big UFC fights until midnight.... needless to say by then our kids were soooo tired and everything was turning real bad real fast. luckily on sunday we slept in and laid around all day watching general conference in between much needed naps.
