christmas break this year was LONG. really really long. i am all for time off for the holiday but not going back to school until january 8th seems insane. i love the two week break but i wasn't a fan of the timing of the two week break, zero time before christmas and two weeks after. the kids are excited for school to start tomorrow though. we had a fun break. sleeping in and staying up late. lunch dates and dinner parties with friends. sledding. seeing jumanji. and of course spending lots of time with family. we spent our last day of christmas break in garden valley. we went up there to check out some land and a cabin with my family. we made a day of it with sledding, but there was no snow to sled on, bummer, swimming at the hot springs and then eating at a fun little town restaurant.
