whhhhaaaatttttt just happened. how is my kid 9. NINE. i know i say this about everyone birthdays but this one really freaked me out. he is half way to 18. HALF WAY, half way to leaving me. i find this devastating. really. i cant think of anything worse than my kids growing up and moving out. whatever will i do with myself when they are gone. but none the less we had a killer weekend celebrating that kid and how awesome he is. his birthday wish was to go camping with the vargas clan so camping we went. we left thursday for horsethief reservoir and came back Sunday. it was fun, like all our other camping trips and this one went a little better with no major motorbike damage. all he wanted for his birthday was a bow and arrow and a target. easy to please little man. he also got a double person hammock, bb's for his gun, some pokemon cards, lots of seahawk stuff, and some magic tricks.
tegans favorite things right now is anything outdoors. he loves to hike and hunt. go to the bmx park. swim. and read. he is my reader. that kid can read! and i love that he loves it. he is so sweet and kind. his favorite thing to do is babysit. he asks all day everyday if i can leave so he can be in charge. it has been AWESOME having a built in babysitter. he is the most responsible kid, extremely kind and caring to everyone around him. he loves to play with little kids. he is adventurous yet as cautious as they come. he has to weight the pros and cons of everything he does, you can see his mind spinning before he acts. we really really love him. he is the best example to his younger three.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEGAN. you are my favorite 9 year old to date.
his first bulls-eye the day after he got it at grandma and grandpas house, on his offical birthday.
