catch up time...

life has been busy, just the way i like it! this summer is flying by.
 the kids start school so soon i cant believe that it is almost over.
let the catching up begin...
mya graduated preschool in may. she can not wait to start kindergarten. she got the mother hen award at the end of the year. she has such a sweet caring side in her. i love when other people can see that too.
i love that girl.

 memorial day weekend we went camping. we decided to take the trailers up at the beginning of the week to make sure we got a spot. we bought locks and tire boots so we would feel safe leaving the trailers alone for a few days. we got up there dropped them off. had a fire, roasted some hot dogs, made some smores and let the kids all play for a few hours before heading home. chase and i were laying in bed that night and he asked me if i locked the trailer. umm.. you kidding me, we spend $60 on locks and we didnt even lock the front door. too funny. well at least they couldn't take the trailer, they could just live in it. so a few days later when we got up there sure enough the door to the trailer was unlocked. what a bunch of dorks we are!!

 in the beginning of june my brother graduated from seminary and then a week later he graduated high school. we got to attend both, the kids defiantly preferred the high school graduation to the seminary one. a little more lively. that same weekend i turned thirty.
THIRTY years old.
i remember when i thought thirty was old, now i'm hoping that it isn't that old after all.
  after his graduation we headed up to the cabin for a week. the kiddos skipped school and i loved that the first week of summer was spent at the cabin. Ayla loves to tube, she will go as often as she can. burke loved the rope swing. tego climbed up it once and climbed right back down. and it was actually warm too. you never know what weather you will get with your june week.

 then the next week school got out for the boys. burke had a fun little graduation from kindergarten and they all got to sign shirts and yearbooks. and they loved missing a week and going back just for field day, assemblies and parties. tegan had his first big presentation and project due before school ended. he loved it. he loved everything about it. finding all the facts. making a report. memorizing the report and creating a model of his insect. i love watching these kiddos grow up and learn!
 the week after the cabin was filled with wedding festivities and end of school parties. we were busy busy getting things made and set up. it was so fun to plan a wedding. i loved it. and i loved watching it come together as we set it all up. but it is no small feat! that was a lot of work.
brit was such a beautiful bride. her wedding was awesome

the next week we helped load up brit and logan once they got back from their honeymoon and spent lots of time with them they then left for las vegas to start their lives there and we left to go camping with friends up in ketchum. we spent three days camping in ketchum then headed over to rupert to be with my family for some fourth of july festivities and to help my dad on the house. we found a fun little pond while camping that had tons of huge fish in it. you caught a fish with almost every cast, my kind of fishing. the kids were able to ride their dirt bikes around and there was lots of areas to hike and explore around us. in rupert we went to the parade, swam in the canal, lite off fireworks and helped with the house. the house is looking good!

 once we got home from Rupert we were home for three days, we listed our house. our other house FINALLY started to make progress then we headed up the cabin for a family reunion and for our July week. the cabin was FREEZING. like 55 degrees freezing. we spent four days in hoodies and sweats with tons and tons of rain. then it warmed up 40 degrees over night for the last 6 days and we swam and got sun burns. weird. but i will take it

we have been home one weekend since june 4. it has been insane but so so so fun.
