we started Christmas eve off this year with our annual gibson family party. instead of gingerbread houses i decided a minute to win it party would be fun, im a little ginger breaded out. so i came up with 20 fun little games and it was hilarious. after the games all the boys and kiddos went outside to play in the snow since it snowed all Christmas eve day.
after the party we got ayla a nap then headed to the chases parents house for our Christmas eve party. this year sherrie decided to have all the kids wrap themself in double sided tape and roll around in $300 worth of one dollar bills. and whatever stuck to them is what they got, along with the other gifts she already got them. the kids thought it was awesome and they had a blast doing it! poor mya got her hair stuck on burkes tape and he pulled a few million strands out, she was almost in tears but recovered quickly because she wanted that money! between the three kiddos they scored $97. tegan has already spent him money (figures) and burke and mya are saving theirs.
we stopped by my parents house on our way home to open our Christmas pajamas. this year mom did sweatshirts and sweats with a football on them since the husbands when to their football championship game and so did Jared.
then christmas began! this year was so much fun. i loved finding the
gifts that they wanted and then being able to see their faces when they
opened them. i love this age and the magic that christmas holds for them.
i got a selfie stick, if you couldnt tell and we had waaaay to much fun with it on christmas! i love this family of mine. i love that we all were able to be together to celebrate the birth of Christ, the one who made it possible for all of us to be together forever. it is such an amazing feeling knowing that this sweet family of mine is mine forever. merry christmas!!
