july...

july has been busy. we have only been home a handful of days this month. but that is soon going to change. tegan starts kindergarten on august 12. i can't believe i will have a school aged kid. and he turns 6 in less than a week too. breaks my heart. i love that they are growing up, i love watching them grow up. i love being able to do different things with them now that they are older. but i surely don't like knowing that soon enough they will be grown and on their own. depressing.

 every july cabin trip whit and i are going to recreate this photo with these two on this very swing. i am excited to see the year to year changes.

a few fun facts to remember about the summer thus far:

mya always says she is sweating like a dog.

ayla hates the great outdoors. she hates the sun. she hates the boat.

tegan and burke can both swim amazingly well for never taking swim lessons.

burke loves to show off his tan line. the kid is tan.

tegan would rather be the flagger in the boat than do anything behind the boat.

you cant get burke or mya off the tub. they'd go all day if they could.

i have been getting horrid stomach pains that drop me to my knees for hours. thank goodness for near by family.

and last one. chase semi accepted his baldingness and cut his hair short.
