easter...

easter weekend was quite hectic around here this year, it came and went much too quickly.
the boys had a soccer game saturday morning, chase left me and the babe to go get the kids from his parents and take them to soccer. it was also soccer picture day. lucky us. i told chase a million times to make sure the boys got their hair done before. it didnt happen. they look homeless in their pictures. and so did he. his hair was everywhere from a rough hospital night and apparently didnt have a hat or time for a shower. i guess showering was over rated that morning for all. when i finally saw the kids later that day i wanted to die. they had all been around the world that day, homeless looking. i am vain like that. our soccer pictures will always make me laugh.

 we finally got out of the hospital on saturday afternoon. brittney and logan took the kids to an easter egg hunt and mcdonalds after their game while we were trying to get checked out. we came home got settled. the kids arrived with more easter eggs and candy then anyone ever needs or wants. we dyed easter eggs that night and then prepared for bed. the kids woke up to their baskets hidden throughout the house. easter outfits on the couch. and eggs carefully placed so we wouldn't lose any to find months later smelling like death. good thing the easter bunny was on top of things this year. otherwise that would of been a disaster. even ayla had a basket surprise on easter morning.

 our easter sunday outfits happened the sunday after easter. we had great intentions of chase going to church with the kids but we were way to wiped out for that to happen.

i hear the easter egg hunt was amazing. men dressed up as bunnies sky dived into the park. there were millions and millions of eggs. there were rides and inflatables along with face painting and many other things. the kids were so excited when they got home. their baskets were heaping with eggs full of candy. thanks brit and logan.
