our little burkey turned 5 months old this week... i have always known that he is big, my arms are exhausted by the end of the day and carrying him in his carseat is becoming more and more difficult, almost impossible and he is already in 12 month clothes... he has been extremely ill the last few days so we took him to the doctor yesterday and...
he weights 20 lbs 3 oz!!!!!!! WOAH!
i was shocked needless to say, i actually busted up in laughter... its mind boggling to me seeing as how Tegan only weights 24 lbs! when i went to lay him down on the scale the nurse stuck her hand out and said 'does he sit up?' i said 'no not good enough that i would trust him sitting on the scale up in the air'... (duh, he only turned 5 months on the 16) and she said 'okay but i hope he doesn't break my scale'.. haha.. do i take that offensively? crazy nurse lady... but can you believe it, he almost weights as much as big brother.. oh i love it...
and he sits up very well (probably cuz his gut rests on his thighs) as long as i have something behind him in case he falls over... so not only is he rather large for his age but my poor little boy has croup, he is so miserable and no medicine to help him out but we did get "the machine" this thing is sweet... i call it the bugger snot sucker! since he cant blow his nose, and lets face it no way the small plungers are going to do the trick, we get something that has a motor, a massive hose and a canister (where the snot falls into haha) he hates it but i love it! its going to make him get better so much quicker!
the little white part goes in his nose, then the snot gets sucked out and goes through the tube...
and here is the machine... she is a BEAST! i mean serious power! sounds like a little generator actually...
but thank goodness he hasn't ever had so much snot that it actually goes all the way through the hose into the canister... we do this about every hour! hopefully he will get better soon!!

Haha that is so gross Cortney! I felt a little sick thinking of that canister being full of boogers! haha I'm glad that he will get better faster now! Cute family!

ahahah holy cow!! he is a big boy!! He doesnt look fat or anything tho!! Isabel is 21 lb. and she is 10 months!! :) He is sweet!! Ive heard after the first baby they just keep getting bigger and bigger!! aha Where did you get that amazing machine?? I seriously want one!!!
Oh yeah by the way!! He has such a cute baby face!! handsome features!!! The girls are going to be chasin' him when he gets older!! And prob. he wont have his gut to slow him down either!! ahah so dont worry!! He is sooo healthy!! he is soo cute!!
