ayla is 6...

her birthday during quarantine was a little different this year but we still had fun and she loved it. we started her day with a little breakfast in bed, then headed to the church grass area to do lunch with the vargas clan. socially distancing of course. earlier that week we made cupcakes and took them to some of her friends so they could send us a picture of them eating them and celebrating with her via picture or facetime on her birthday. it was a hit and she smiled from ear to ear every single time. her biggest worry was not being able to eat cake and ice cream with her friends so we came up with a plan and it worked. later that day we headed out camping to the weiser sand dunes. all she wanted to do for months was to go camping on her birthday with all her friends and their families, darn corona virus, so despite the stay at home order we left town and headed for the hills to complete this adorable cute little 6 year olds wish.
ayla is the cutest, sweetest little lady. you haven't met anyone like her. she is truly one of a kind. the other day at the grocery store she asked the checker lady " may i please purchase some of your finest beer". we all had a good laugh. she loves friends and family. she is a people person through and through. she loves school and loves to ride her bike and scooter. she isn't afraid of anything and that scares me to death. she is fearless. she eats like a horse still. its apples and carrots for every snack, it is so weird. she has no top teeth still. its been 6 months. i think they came out early from all her apple eating.
her favorite color pink. her favorite food is pancakes. her favorite thing to do is to hang out with me. i cant tell you how many times this year we have popped popcorn and watched descendants while the other kids are in school. she loves gymnsatics. she is insanely flexible and she makes us laugh every single day, all day long. we love our little ayla bayla! happy happy birthday sweet girl.
