august began as we were ending our park city trip. we came home saturday and left monday for the cabin for the week to celebrate tegan's 11th birthday! he absolutely loved being able to be up there for his birthday. the fullers and stephensons joined us to help celebrate his birthday then the rest of my family came up for the end of the week and weekend. huckleberry days were in donnelly while we are there so of course we went to the parade. the kids filled grocery sacks with candy, necklaces, shirts, frisbees and popsicles. it was awesome! ayla and addilyn did they yearly cabin pictures. watching them grow is my favorite!
we also headed back to rupert the following weekend to celebrate nate's birthday at steadman's. we played all day at steadmans and stayed a few days in rupert at the house. lots of scooter rides and check out the town square. we hustled home to get back in time for shelby's wedding reception. it was a beautiful reception with a beautiful bride. hard to believe a girl i remember being born is now married! just means i am getting old.
the following week was the only week all summer that we were home, 10 days straight before school started! lots of trips to roaring springs and the bowling alley. the kids finally got their last time at roaring springs dip n dots. they were thrilled and having passes this summer was the best. we loved being able to head to the waterpark whenever we wanted. thanks for the christmas gifts grandma and papa!
