ugh, where does time go. weeks and weeks go by so quickly lately. tegan was student of the month earlier this month.. he was thrilled to be able to get it again. at the last assembly he was nominated by his health teacher so his classroom teacher told him that that didn't count for the classroom so he was it again!
valentines has also come and gone.. such a fun holiday, i love celebrating those i love. the kids all needed to create a valentines box so the sunday before the holiday we went to work, we ended up with a monster, a fortnite llama, an owl, and a mailbox. ayla did not need to make her box but of course she couldn't be left out! after all their school parties we came home, had a fancy chinese dinner on some amazing paper plates and watched a movie.
the big kids decided that they wanted to spend their money to get some skis and boots, we made a deal with them that if they buy those then we would buy them season passes to bogus. we are now officially a skiing family. first family ski night begins tomorrow... heaven help us. it has snowed the last few days so they have been out in the backyard skiing around. goof balls.
mya has also turned 8!! we threw quite the party for our cute little 8 year old. she had 18 friends come to danik gym with us last saturday. they played, jumped, yelling and screamed for an hour straight... girls are not like boys... we finished the party with pizza, cake and ice cream. it was fun to see her with her friends... she is a funny funny girl.
a little about mya right now:
she is competitive, she wants to win. always. doesn't matter how it happens. she will win.
she loves all food, she will eat anything and everything especially if it is something that i am eating
her favorite color is blue and purple
her favorite sport is skiing (which has yet to be ever done before)
she loves taking pictures, loves to spell... constantly attempting to spell out sentences - making us all a little crazy --- loves to play backyard games, loves playing with her brothers.
she is funny, smart, witty, clever, strong willing, kind, caring and loves to help out.
