the kiddos had off the friday before spring break and the entire week so we decided to go and visit brit and logan in las vegas before they move in august! we spent thursday night in twin falls with chase then the kiddos and i woke up friday morning and drove to las vegas. it was sooo fun. i was worried about the 10 hour drive alone, just me and the kiddos but it was easy peasy. they rocked it. i actually loved spending all that time with them, distraction free. we shopped, eat, swam, hiked, stayed up way to late, got up much too early and saw lots of sites while we were down there. then thursday morning we made the trek back home, this time brit came with us so she could be here for Easter weekend and i would have a driving partner. we both laughed about how quick the 10 hours in the car were and how it made no sense that it was actually fun to drive that far with kids.
we loved spring break! next trip is less than one month away.. CALIFORNIA here we come.
