the kids had a 5 day weekend a couple weeks ago so we had to take advantage of it! we left wednesday after school for rupert, stayed the night and continued onto salt lake thursday morning. we spent the afternoon at a farm, ayla loved it, she looooves horses right now and she wanted to and could of kept riding "spirit" all day long. i just kept thinking i was so happy that it was free with our museum pass because i would of never paid to do any of that stuff. we swam our lives away at the hotel that night and enjoyed a late night run to waffle love. friday morning we went to the museum of natural curiosity, IKEA and scheels. we splurged and stayed friday night at a hotel with an indoor water park, not sure if we will ever do that again but it was fun for the kiddos. brit and logan showed up to surprise the kiddos and to come to lagoon with us. chase and tegan were going to go to the BSU BYU game friday night but decided at the last minute to not go. traffic looked insane and with lagoon planned for saturday getting back at 1or 2am and staying at lagoon the next night until 11pm didnt seem like a good idea. saturday was frightmares! we all loved it. it was so fun. all three of the big kids are roller coaster maniacs, they are hands down braver than me. sunday we traveled home stopping in rupert to go to the pumpkin patch and hang on the farm.
in case i dont say it enough, which i know i do, i absolutely love trips!
grandma and grandpa paid for them to play a (rigged) basketball game but to my surprise they all won and they all picked foxes! they were PUMPED.
