life and everything in between...

ugh. i feel like i cant keep up with our lives lately! which is weird since i also feel like i literally do nothing all day everyday anymore. its strange feeling so busy yet not busy at all. i guess it is maybe just a different busy, one that i am not a use to.

so lets start at memorial day weekend. chase left for ketchikan alaska to go fishing with work so the kids and i decided that we would head down to Rupert to hang out with my parents for the long weekend. we had a blast, missed chase but still had a lot of fun. we spent time at the farm letting the kids explore and dirt bike. Sunday we went to the city of rocks and hiked around. i didnt plan as well for that, i left ayla's backpack at home which made for a long day of carrying her, and we managed to go on a 100 degree day so it was HOT. even with all the fun things we had planned to do there i think the kids favorite part was playing in the old cellar at my parents house collecting bricks and making their own house down there. they built walls and couches and spent hours and hours crawling around in that spider infested place, placing their bricks one by one on top of each other.
chase had a good time in alaska. there were a few mishaps that happened this trip, his boss and the owner fell down the stairs at the lodge they were staying in and broke 9 ribs, punctured his lung and got a concussion so he split his time between the hospital and fishing and got very little sleep in between.

the boys have started football and are loving it, mya has started soccer and is loving it too but wishes sooo bad that she could play football. and to be honest, she would be a dang good football player. but, she rocks at soccer and it is fun to watch her play. chase started his flag football league also and there is nothing more fun to watch then old men running around playing flag football as if it was the super bowl. i love it and am thoroughly entertained by it.

chase turned 32 this month. we celebrated with a day of golfing and taking the kids to circus trix, which was SO FUN, then followed by dinner at big jud's with his mom. i love my 32 year old man.

we went to a golf work party the other weekend. we had fun and did pretty good as a team. 18 holes is a long time to golf though. i feel pretty done after 9 usually so 18 and four hours later was long but its always fun to get out. i won the longest drive between the men and the women. it was kind of exciting, kind of embarrassing. i kind of felt like he-man or something, but i was also kind of proud of myself.

ayla started dance and she is hilarious. addilyn and her are in the same class together and thursday mornings are now my favorite day of the week. ayla is spaztic! she is all over the place, bouncing and dancing and singing. she is loud and never stays on her sticker. she barely follows the teacher while every other girl in there seems calm and composed. maybe one day she will understand it all until then ill keep laughing and trying to teach her to chill.
we threw whit a surprise baby shower last weekend. it was a blast, not your normal boring shower and we totally pulled the surprise off, it looks quite the lie from me but it worked. she had no clue until she pulled up to my house, we even flew brittney in from las vegas for it. it was awesome. now that we had the shower it is time for that baby to come!
i can't wait to meet that little girl.
