spring break...

the last week in march the kiddos had spring break. we took them to utah to go to a couple museums,  stay in a hotel. swim. and eat lots of yummy food. a couple weeks ago i learned that if you have a discovery center pass then there is a huge list of museums that you can also get into across the nation, turns out utah has alot of them right around salt lake so we figured we might as well try it out! we had so much fun. the kids are all at such a good age. they all traveled perfectly. went to bed and slept great. everyone could swim without assistance. and we can go to restaurants, shopping, and hotels without wanting to run out as quick as possible. that trip to utah was FUN! wednesday we took the trailer to rupert, helped my parents with the house while staying on the farm in the trailer. thursday we went down to utah. stopped by and saw chases grandma and went to the natural life museum in salt lake. it was huge! the kids loved it. we also stopped and got in and out, not my favorite place but its a must do when there is one around according to chase. we checked into our hotel in lehi and the kids swam the night away. friday we went to the natural curiosity museum, and the ancient life museum at thanksgiving point. the kids loved the natural curiosity one, they have a huge play area. and tego LOVED the dinosaurs at ancient life. we had planned to also go to the farm there at thanksgiving point but the weather was freezing, raining, and windy. no thank you. so we went to scheels and walked around there and rode the farris wheel then back to the hotel for some more swimming. that evening we went to provo to go see BYU and eat at the creamery. ayla hated the farris wheel. not her thing. at all. she screamed the entire time and kept trying to climb out. she gave me a heart attack. chase had to pin her down from standing up. they finally let her and chase off and she couldn't get away from that thing fast enough. saturday morning the kids swam again for the final time. we check out and went to lunch with chases cousin then back to rupert to stay the night and hang on the farm. id say the kids had a good spring break and i LOVED our little trip. 

 the kids were playing hide and seek while we were helping with the house. no one could find her and then there she was. sketchy!
