goodbye kindergarten...

school is out for the summa!!!

  this kid loved school and so far has missed it greatly. class lists came out yesterday for next year. tegan has mrs hammell and his best buddy briggs is in his class again and he is thrilled. and burke has mrs nesbitt, he is so excited that he gets tegans teacher. but his little buddies aren't in his class and he isnt so sure how he feels about not knowing anyone.

since tegan's birthday is in the summer we decided that we would do his birthday party early so he could pass out his invitations on the last day of school, since there were a lot of kids that we would never be able to get ahold of. he tried to get numbers, came home with a lot of 5 digits telephone numbers or 12 digits... um... sorry dude. those arent real phone numbers. and since he was so sad about not being able to have his school friends come in august we did it in june. with the deal that this is it. no party in august. he agreed. we will see how this goes when august rolls around. it was a blast to see him with his little friends outside of school. what a fun group of kids they are! we played water games, ate hot dogs, did a pinata, and had a soccer cake.
