catch up...

life has been busy busy lately. mostly because we have been so sick. and i mean so sick. and lets face it. sick kids are exhausting and A LOT of work.
in the last couple months we have suffered from
 mono.
scarlett fever.
mutiple ear infections.
bladder infections.
UTI's.
another round of strep.
and the good ole common cold.
the doctor and i have become best of friends.
it has been insane and the worst part is i have no idea how to fix it. it just wont end.
and to top it off. mya threw up in costco the other day.
awesome. talk about embarrassing. and poor ayla was sitting next to her and took the brunt of it. gross.

in the mean time though, miss ayla is now 10 months old. wow. i love that girl. she is the greatest blesssing. she can roll with the punches and is always so happy.
she has 8 teeth with 2 molars coming in.
she crawls everywhere and has been for weeks.
she walks along the couch and pulls herself up on everything.
she says maaa and daaaa.clearly meant for chase and i.
she is starting to love me. and i mean love me. stranger danger people.
yet, she will still give anyone and i mean anyone a huge tooth filled smile.
she fake laughs at chase all the time.
she has started to scream when mya comes near maybe because she mauls her to death.
and i am not kidding. she can not stop touching her. EVER. i'd scream too.

mya and burke graduated from high school preschool. it was a sad sad day. i love that preschool. and so do they. it is amazing and they learned so much and had so much fun.

i ran in my first race with my friend lacy. it was only a 5k but im still pretty happy about it. it was nice to get out and run. the weather was perfect and we had a fun time.
and last but not least. we had our first stitches in this household. and it wasnt by any of my kiddos. zach one of the boys friends fell in the toy room, hitting his face on our toy chest and split his lip open. hello blood. and hello lots of stitches. poor guy. it was so sad.
no wonder his top teeth hurt. he fell hard enough to dent the wood.
