burke had his pumpkin patch field trip first to linder farms. and it was just me him and ayla. it was so fun to be able to spend time with him and see him around his school friends. he is funny. he is very shy, which is surprising to me. he really didnt talk to anyone or do anything with anyone. he stayed pretty close to me and kind of just did his own thing. he made me laugh. silly kid. we will go up to any stranger and talk to them but not speak a word at preschool.
mya had a field trip also this time to the farmstead, and burke decided that he was too sick for school and needed to stay home and go to the pumpkin patch instead. i let him go with us, he was pretty excited to be able to skip school... learning such a bad habit much to early in life.
we did our annual pumpkin carving the monday before halloween with my family.
my dad ate the pumpkin guts, which is always gross. seriously gross.
we made witches brew, keeps the werewolves away.
we carved some sweet pumpkins. tegan refused to touch the guts. it grosses him out.
mya's little pummpkin was 10x harder to gut and carve then the big ones. who knew.
tegan is in love with football lately. that kid eat sleeps and breathes football and i don't feel like i am exaggerating at all. he asks everyday if there is a football game on. he takes his football with him to school to play at recess with his friends. he lives for his flag football games on saturday and all he ever ever ever wants to do is play catch. so he was determined for me to carve him the seattle seahawks logo... i think i did a pretty fine job. it was harder than i thought to carve but we did it and it only too 2 days for it to shrivel up and become unrecognizable. lame.
