we had some cabin fun the last two weeks. but it is so nice to be home with a little down time and some AC! it was hot hot hot! and i could use a little less sun right about now and my own room. sleeping with the kids for 12 nights really takes its toll on a person. who knew they tossed and turned or talked in their sleep so much. burke can literally slam into a wall three times in a matter of minutes without even cracking an eyelid! this trip tegan couldn't get enough fishing, burke couldn't get enough swimming and mya needed to be on a motorcycle all hours of the day.
the boys got their annual cabin mohawks.
one morning we had the bright idea of waking up the boys early to go fishing, since they were having so much fun fishing off the dock.. turns out they weren't fans of real fishing.
seems as if they prefer to catch a fish every cast from the dock. who knew.
these kids loved spending 2 weeks with grandma and grandpa!

mya didnt dare touch the sparklers. she wouldn't even come near them, fine with me! i was already picturing emergency runs with just the boys flailing them about.
this year seemed so simple compared to our last few years of cabin trips. these three were troopers and loved every second of being up there! i cant believe how big my little babies are getting.
this kid fell asleep on the boat almost daily. and when he wasn't sleeping he was our pro flagger.
