t-ball sign ups were in january. we signed up the boys for both soccer and t-ball at the same time, although they were months apart. clearly, the way soccer went for one boy in particular, i most definitely without a doubt might of held off on attempting a sport such as t-ball.
but to my surprise it was a blast last night. the boys did great!! they were so fun to watch. they have had three practices and now one game.
tegan had so much fun. it was all that he could talk about yesterday. his excitement was so fun to see.
burke did pretty darn good seeing as how i had it pictured that he would just lay on the grass rolling around the whole time.
side note: the boys came home from practice last week, tegs was sweating, cheeks red and couldn't wait to talk about how fast he ran the bases and how far he hit the ball. burke came strolling in. no sweat. no red cheeks. nothing. i asked burke how practice went and what his favorite part was.. he thought for a good 5 seconds and then said my favorite part was relaxing... silly boy. come to find out he decided to sit out that whole practice and chill. yup. the season looked pretty daunting at that point! so i am so glad that it was fun and better yet that they enjoy it! it was a good laugh. they were so cute. and i love hearing little 4 year olds talk to eachother. their conversations are awesome.
