i guess i should say more like state travelers. last week we traveled the good ole state of idaho. started in twin falls, went to rexburg, then to idaho falls and blackfoot and back home. the kids had a blast in hotel after hotel. i couldn't swim in another hotel pool if you paid me, we swam morning and night with only one near drowning incident, pretty good if you ask me.
in twin falls chase went bow fishing one evening with mike, they shoot carp with a bow and arrow and according to him those suckers are huge, his biggest was 30 lbs., and those things look GROSS, the kids and i got lots of friend playtime in, the weather was nice so it was spent mostly outside. in rexburg the kids met their new favorite little friend chet and they have been asking for him ever since. idaho falls was awesome. we got to spend friday evening in the temple doing endowments and sealings for family, my dad got sealed to his family, what a neat experience. saturday brought on some easter egg hunts, the largest one in all of eastern idaho, it was NUTS, and one at my grandmas in blackfoot... along with playing and working at the farm. feeding the horses was a HIGHLIGHT even though tegan and mya weren't huge fans of the beasts when they got up close and personal. burke probably would of let them eat his hand. we finally got home around nine on saturday, boiled us some eggs, dyed them and went to bed hoping we wouldn't wake up for a week.
we took a walk around CSI while chase was in a class. who knew it would be hard to walk with 8 kids? they sure loved this tank though!
and i sure miss this lady!
