we didnt go to the forest this year. the thought of mya in a car for 4 hours in a 6 hour period made both chase and i cringe... so we did the next best thing (the easiest thing) and went to a tree lot. it was fast, plenty of fun for the boys to run through, lots of candy canes to eat and a nice warm fire to stand by, and PLENTY of time in the car with the little lady. next year we will carry on our tradition.

i commend you for getting a full sized tree. although, she probably isn't too mobile yet. we went for a 3 foot tree for 2 years in a row when oscar and livy were little. we got the full sized one this year on the account that wherever i leave maggie she usually stays there...unless another child has moved her, which happens a lot.
