last week we went to the forest to find us the perfect christmas tree. it was quite the adventure needless to say but we found two lovely trees, cut them down and brought them home.. i have no pictures of the actual event but i do have some of the trees in the house.. lets just say they are HUGE!.. seriously huge. one of the trees was so wide it wouldn't fit through the door so we cut off a good 5 feet of it. now it fits but it hits the top of the ceiling in the ten foot room... so no room for a star on that tree and the other seems to keep growing and crashing. i guess our 7 feet max base just isnt enough for this 14 foot tree!... but we love them, they smell so good!

our only incident of the day.. burke took a face plant and scrapped up his face... other then that it was smooth sailing!
