well lots has happened in the last few weeks...
for starters burke had his follow up for his ears and he is hearing 100%!!!! YAY! such a relief.. we knew that he could hear though since now he looks around for the noises he is hearing and will look at us when we are talking to him, we just didn't know if it was all back or not.. so that was a major relief. SOOO GLAD HE CAN HEAR!!
tegan got his first sun burn... yes, yes i win AWFUL MOM AWARD... i felt so bad. he was so miserable... it was so sad!! when he would rub it on something or touch it he would just start balling.. and then he kept touching it because it hurt, well many of you know that it doesn't help to touch the burn when its hurting but i couldnt get that through his head. so i would have to hold his arms down until the pain stopped so he wouldnt rub it and make it worst....
NEVER EVER again will he burn. at least not until he is older and its his fault.
we also got to take a break from life for a few days and go up to sun valley with my family.. it was fun, the condo was awesome a good long break was much needed! we rode bikes, my rear is still sore.. ugh... we went ice skating, lots of nice long walks.. its so beautiful up there... had lots of family time and were able to just relax. tegan loved ice skating, poor chase was dying by the time we left, he had to hold him up the whole time and tegan NEVER wanted to stop so it was quite the work out for him, and me, well ice and i dont really get along so i was quite content sitting on the sidelines with burke chatting with my parents.
tegan loves bike rides.. burke, not so much...
last week we got a phone call from western construction in boise... they wanted chase to come work for them.. now this call was out of the blue, we didnt apply or didnt even know they had a position open... so it was a little bit of a shocker but we decided it wouldnt hurt anything if he went down and met with them... well one thing lead to another and we are boise bound... he starts august 9, so we dont have much time at all.. it guess its good, like a bandaid, just ripe it off instead of dragging it on.... i cant tell you how sad i am to leave though, we have GREAT friends here, and an AMAZING house, but this job will be super for chase and he is VERY excited so that means i am to right?!!.. no i am, but i will definately be sad! it will be nice being near family... and im sure we can make friends again, maybe. :) so say goodbye to our house and this lovely town of kimberly idaho... we are off.

Woohoo! I know it stinks to leave friends and the life you've made there in Kimberly, but I'm excited you're coming to Boise!
