giant syndrome...

i never thought that chase and i would be the couple to produce giant children.. but we are... i always thought that i would be like my mom and never have over a 6 pound baby.. i guess that i was dreaming on that one... i had a glimmer of hope with burke, at 2 weeks he was only in the twentieth percentile for height and weight.. now this was a joyous occasion for me since tegan always registered in the ninetieth for everything.. he has never fit into his correct clothing category.. even when he was born.. he now wears 2T to 3T clothes... he is almost 18 months.... anyways, recently burke has seem to be growing like a weed.. seriously a weed... my tiny itty bitty baby is now huge, so at his 2 month appointment a few days ago it didn't surprise me when they weighted him and he already weighs 13 pounds and is already 25.5 inches long...he now has officially caught up to tegan in being a giant, in towering over all the kids his age, in wearing the wrong clothing size, and in the category that he eats so much chase and i wonder where in the world he stores it all.. he is in the eightieth for all categories except ninetieth in height! the doctor was rather surprised that he had grown so much so quickly.. just 6 weeks since our last appointment... all i have to say is WE LOVE GIANTS around here!
here is my adorable little man..

timber...

tegan loves to ride his rocking horse with burke.. he freaks out if we dont put burke on there with him.. so far burke has been safe and never fallen.. tegan holds on really tight and lets us know when he is done.. haha.. poor burke though.. holding up his head still isnt his specialty!

and tegans first time in a swimming pool... he has been in many many nasty lake waters but never a nice warm indoor pool... he LOVED it

him and miss brooklyn

he loved jumping off the side to dad!

I love your "giant" little boys. That's funny because all my children and significantly underweight and in the tenth percentile for their weight every time we go in for a check up. Good luck with your adorable giants!
