we had our annual christmas tree cutting experience last saturday.. we were a little nervous to go out this year, partly because it was a blizzard, but mostly because burke was only 2 weeks old and tegan doesn't love the car seat to much anymore... so we left during nap time and off we went! it was pretty fun, burke and i were car bound while tegan crawled over the seats and played in the snow.. it was bitter cold outside, even tegan didnt enjoy the snow very much this time and chase had a heck of a time carrying our big beautiful tree up the mountain by himself... but our tree is here all decorated and putting off a lovely christmas aroma throughout our house! its beginning to look a lot like christmas... but i could do without the freezing temperatures and the massive snow drifts in our backyard!

burke and i were car bound.. we didnt think taking him out in the 8 degree weather was a good idea.. so we sat in the car with the heater on all nice and cozy
poor tegs froze to death in the 5 minutes he was outside playing with chase in the snow and checking out the tree... we kept his hat and him bundeled in blankets the whole way home to get him warm again!

the final product... our lovely tree, i must say its our best one yet.. the last few have been a little charlie brown like!

I know this is late but CONGRATS on your baby boy Burke! I can't believe you already have 2 kids... good for you! I guess I'm a bit behind with only one! well, Merry Christmas!
