life lately...

life lately has been CRAZY! we have been so busy but its made the time pass so quickly! our basement is almost finished!! they are installing carpet at this very moment.. not a quiet task i must say.. keeping my fingers crossed that tegan will somehow continue to sleep through it... its been an experience to say the least! what a wonderful and talented husband i have.. i cant believe that he has been able to do all the work and that he was so fast! we decided that when we started the basement we had to be done by the end of October.. and we will be! chase has been so committed to get it done, cant say the same about me though.. maybe since i am 9 months pregnant and my body didn't seem to agree with the things i have been trying to make it do, it definitely didn't love the long nights of caulking, painting, filling holes, sanding... squating.. i dont think that my legs have EVER been this sore... but they are also holding up some extra weight these days... haha... but we cant wait for it to finally be done! i cant wait to move everything around, get everything down there so I can finally start to get ready for the little guy to arrive.. not to much longer now and he will be here! tegan has throughly enjoyed the basement process.. he LOVES being down there with chase working right along side of him.. didnt matter what was down there.. he would be covered from head to toe in sawdust, sheetrock dust, paint.. you name it and he found it!

he even would carry around his own little hammer.. a little more dangerous now that there are walls and things he would LOVE to put holes in! he is such a stud.. he keeps us on our toes thats for sure! its amazing to me how much someone can light up your life.. we are getting very excited for little man to arrive! still no names... we have a few that we love but nothing solid.. guess we will have to see him first!!
